KARACHI: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday decided to shut its ongoing inquiry against provincial minister Nawab Taimoor Khan Talpur due to insufficient pieces of evidence.

According to details, the Sindh High Court (SHC) conducted the hearing on a bail plea filed by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader.

As the hearing went underway, NAB prosecutor told the court that an application has been moved to the Chairman anti-graft body for approval to close the ongoing inquiry against the provincial minister as the authority has failed to find sufficient pieces of evidence against the latter in Assets Beyond Means Case.

At which, the court by accepting Taimoor Talpurs bail plea adjourned the cases hearing for an indefinite period.
