ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday said that Nawaz can go abroad by completing the legal formalities, the government will not put any hurdle in that matter.
PM Imran chaired an important meeting of the party spokespersons in which matter of the removal of Nawaz Sharifs name from the Exit Control List (ECL) was discussed.
Talking to the spokesperson, PM Imran said, We have decided to allow Nawaz Sharif to go abroad for his medical treatment on humanitarian grounds and the legal aspects are being reviewed by Federal Law Minister Farogh Naseem.
The government has already presented its clear stance on the matter and Nawaz can go abroad by completing the legal formalities, he added.
The impression of a deal is not true as the accountability process will not be stopped, he concluded.
