ISLAMABAD: National Electric Power and Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has proposed a hike in the prices of electricity tariffs by 57paisas per unit, local media reported on Tuesday.

According to details, NEPRA has proposed a hike in the electricity tariffs to the Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) by 57paisas per unit under fuel adjustment for the month of April.

Meanwhile, CPPA will hear on NEPRAs plea for the proposed hike on May 28.

However, the change will not affect the K-Electric users.
