ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Mohsin Nawaz Ranjha on Wednesday revealed that the opposition parties are considering to bring a no-confidence motion against the President Dr Alvi.

Talking to a private channel in an interview he said, We [opposition parties] are considering to bring a no-confidence motion against President Dr Arif Alvi.

The decision has been taken in the light of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) suspended a notification for the appointment of two members of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), he added.

Presidents decision to appoint members of ECP was unconstitutional and hence we are considering to bring a no-confidence motion against him after a brief consultation with other opposition parties, he concluded.
