ISLAMABAD: National Security Committee (NSC) on Sunday decided to respond to Indian aggression across Line of Control (LoC) in a befitting manner.

A meeting of the NSC was chaired by the Prime Minister Imran Khan which was attended by heads of Army, Navy, Air Force and other top civil-military leadership of the country.

According to a statement issued, PM Imran Khan said that Pakistan will not leave its Kashmiri brethren alone and will respond to any Indian aggression in a befitting manner.

He said that the country wants a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute in the light of resolutions passed by the United Nations (UN).

The top civil-military leadership of the country also expressed concerns over Indias decision of increasing troops in the occupied valley and appealed the UN to take action as the Indian atrocities are the basis of all conflicts between the two nations.
