LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) on Wednesday rejected the decision of the federal cabinets sub-committee which allows Nawaz Sharif to go abroad for his medical treatment on conditional grounds.
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) expressed discontent over the decision, stating that indemnity bond condition of the cabinet’s sub-committee is unlawful and how can someone guarantee that Nawaz Sharifs health will recover within four weeks, by adding that the bonds have already submitted in the courts.
The PML-N in an official statement said that the decision of the cabinets subcommittee is beyond comprehension.
Meanwhile, PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition, Shehbaz Sharif, will convene an important meeting of the senior leadership of the party tomorrow to review the situation. He will also address a press conference at 3 pm after the meeting.
According to a statement issued by Marriyum Aurangzeb, the governments decision to condition Nawaz Sharifs medical treatment abroad is based on Imran Khans prejudice and political revenge. At the time of bail, all constitutional and legal requirements were completed, and bail bonds were also submitted, she expressed, adding that conditioning removal of Nawaz Sharifs name from the ECL is an incomprehensible decision.
