QUETTA: President of Pakistan Arif Alvi on Tuesday met with the bereaved families of the martyrs of Hazarganji blast incident in Quetta and condoled on the loss of innocent lives.

The president said that it is the prime responsibility of the state to protect its citizens.

President Arif Alvi said, Hazarganji type incident will not divide us.

“The entire nation is with the Hazara community in this moment of grief, he added

Government of Pakistan will ensure the implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP), said Arif Alvi.

He also appreciated the Balochistan government for announcing a compensation package for the victims of Hazarganji blast.

No amount of compensation can compensate the loss of human lives, he said.

It is the prime responsibility of the state to protect the lives of its citizens, he added.

The federal government will provide every possible support to the provincial government required for implementing NAP, he concluded.
