KARACHI: Delport propels United towards victory by 49 runs in their first encounter of the second round of PSL 4 here on Saturday.

Cameron Delports unbeaten fastest century and Asif Ali’s half-century lifted defending champions Islamabad United to 238 in thein the 27th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season four at Karachi’s National Stadium.

Lahore Qalandars speedster Shaheen Afridi kicked-off the Pakistan Super Leagues Pakistan leg with a first ball wicket of Islamabad United opener Luke Ronchi.

However, Lahore Qalandars failed to capitalize the 74 runs inning by Sohail Akhtar and lost the match by 49 runs.

Earlier, the skipper of Lahore Qalandars Fakhar Zaman had won the toss and decided to field first against Islamabad United.

This was a must-win game for Qalandars.
