KARACHI: Barrister Murtaza Wahab, spokesman to Sindh Chief Minister and adviser on Law, Anti-Corruption Establishment, and information on Monday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) is the worst shape of a civil-dictatorial regime.

In a statement, he said, “PTI’s move of not allowing the former president to have a medical checkup is a violation of both human and legal rights.”

“The governments do come and go but the former president is severely ill and not allowing him to have a medical checkup is a violation of country’s constitution and law,” he added.

“The selected government will be responsible if anything happens to the former president,” he further added.

“Where are Imran Niazi’s claims of forming Islamic welfare state like Medina? They themselves took a u-turn on their promises,” he concluded.
