RAWALPINDI: Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) itself is not a big issue, adding that few individuals are playing in foreign hands by exploiting sentiments of the masses here on Thursday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during his interaction with the university students of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) at Corps Auditorium of Peshawar Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that PTM is not a big deal for us but the issues are being raised by them are genuine and attracts the masses but its leadership is exploiting general public by exploiting their sentiments.

COAS Bajwa said Pakistan is blessed with talented youth and future of the country belongs to them.

He said that Pakistani nation and it’s Armed Forces have done brilliantly well against the menace of extremism adding that its time now to have its dividends through socio-economic development in which education is most important.

The Army Chief said both government and the military are working to address genuine issues of the tribal people regardless of where they come from.
