QUETTA: Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Sunday sent the body parts of the suicide bomber who killed 20 people and left several injured in Quetta’s Hazarganji market in a suicide blast for DNA tests.
The CTD official said that the remains of the suicide bomber will go through DNA testing and the NADRA has also been asked to help in identifying the alleged suicide bomber.
Geo-fencing and other means of investigations will be used to probe the matter, the CTD officials added.
At least 20 people were killed and 50 others injured in a blast supposed to be targeting the Hazara Shia community in Quetta’s HazarganjiFruit Marketearlier on Friday.
Earlier today, the protest of Hazara Shia community which commenced on Friday against the killing of innocent civilians of their community in Quetta blast had entered the third day at Quettas Western Bypass.
