KARACHI: Several protesting headmasters went unconscious while police baton-charged them on Sunday.

As per details, headmasters who were appointed after passing entrance test exam from IBA university were protesting as they wanted to get permanent job orders were baton-charged by an angry police contingent outside Karachi Press Club (KPC) while attempting to reach CM House.

The police baton-charged and used water cannon on protesting teachers. As a result, several teachers went unconscious.

It is pertinent to mention here that the protestors demanded the government for permanent job orders as they joined the service three years ago and till to date, they are working on a contract basis.
