Lahore: Pakistan leg-spinner Shadab Khan will depart for United Kingdom today for the treatment of hepatitis C virus (HCV).

According to the details, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has set-up his appointment with Dr Patrick Kennedy on Thursday and Friday.

Shadabs treatment is anticipated to require at least four weeks, and he will not be a part of Pakistan team in the upcoming series against England.

Shadabs participation in the World Cup 2019 also depends upon his recovery.

The Chairman Selection committee Inzamam-Ul-Haq announced the unfortunate news that the 20-year-old leg-spinner is suffering from Hepatitis C Virus.
