KARACHI: Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed on Sunday condoled with the family of railways assistant driver Rashid Ahmed who was burnt to death in a fire incident at City Railway station of the metropolis.

As per details, Sheikh Rashid visited the house of railways assistant driver Rashid Ahmed who burnt to death in a fire incident at City Railway station of the Karachi.

Sheikh Rasheed also announced a job for the deceased drivers son beside a compensation of Rs1 million.

He also promised to allot a plot to the widow of the deceased driver.

Railways Minister also announced a compensation amount of Rs0.5 million to the injured deputy driver of the same incident.

It is pertinent to mention here that a fire that erupted on Karachis city station burnt Rashid Rehman to death while another employee of the railway was injured in the process.
