ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday said that neither was there a Palestine in the South Asian region nor would Pakistan let an Israel form.
Addressing a joint-parliamentary session on Kashmir issue he said that India has betrayed the United Nations (UN) and Security Council by violating Vienna convention.
He said, Pakistan has no option to bow down before India on the matter and should show its firm support to its Kashmiri brethren.
By revoking section 370 of Indian constitution Modi-led government has tried to annex the disputed valley and provoked Pakistan by this act, he added.
By criticizing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) led federal government he said, The issue is in the limelight since the past 48 hours and our government hasnt issued any policy statement on the matter.
It isnt a failure of foreign policy that we havent issued a policy statement on such a sensitive matter, he further added.
We will stand firm with our Kashmiri brethren and will not let someone shed their blood, he concluded.
