KARACHI: The Sindh government on Sunday imposed a ban on pillion riding across the province ahead of Muharram-ul-Haram for three days.

According to a notification issued by the provincial home department, amid the threats of the terrorist attacks on Muharram-ul-Haram processions the Sindh government has decided to impose a ban on pillion riding.

On the other hand, the authorities have also sealed M.A Jinnah road with the help of containers from Sea-Breeze to Tower.

Meanwhile, the Corridor-III has also been sealed from Regal Chowk to Sadar. However, all the business on the routes of Muharram-ul-Haram processions will also be kept closed during these three days.
