KARACHI: Following the complaints from parents of the pupils, Sindh government on Friday barred the government teachers from running private coaching centres.

Addressing to media, the provincial minister for education Syed Sardar Shah said, Some of the government teachers are involved in running private coaching centers in the province and to get good marks a student should have to get admission in those centres.

In response to a question over the cheating issue, Sardar Shah said, Government is serious in stopping this menace of cheating and will take necessary steps for it.

The provincial government has barred teachers and the student of carrying cellphones in examination centers, said Sardar Shah.

Sardar Shah also told that the provincial government is already taking action against those private schools which violated the orders of resuming the sessions by the end of July and charging extra fees from the parents.

He also told that teaching of Sindhi language has been made mandatory in the schools.
