ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that hot and dry weather is likely to prevail in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours, Sindh Post reported on Friday.
According to the Met department, rain, dust-thunderstorm and gusty winds are expected at various parts including Mirpurkhas, Hyderabad and Karachi divisions.
A day earlier, according to Director PMD, heat is expected to rise in Karachi to 39 degree Celsius to 42 degree Celsius.
The expected cyclone Vayu is the prime reason for the expected heat rise, added PMD.
The local administration has also advised the residents to take precautionary measure while going out.
Karachi is facing a fresh wave of heat since the past couple of weeks, the metropolis suffered from intense heat for the past few days.
